Our choice

The silk

The Tradition of the Catholic Church has always considered silk the most suitable material for the making of liturgical vestments, due to its undisputed value. Holy Mother Church has also allowed the use of materials other than silk, but only “because of poverty” (ratione paupertatis) or “by reason of value” (ratione pretiositatis).

Faithful to ecclesiastical dictates, Fiducia Tantum’s main production are silk vestments.

Fiducia Tantum vestments are often made precious not only by their fabrics, but also by decorative inserts that customers can choose: hand embroidered blazons and arms, gold lace, precious gallons of different sizes, damask inserts and much more.
